What We Collect

When you use InnerForge, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and display name when you sign up.
• Checkpoint responses — your answers to the psychological checkpoints, which power your coach’s personality file.
• Derived data — scores, interpretations, and the personality file generated from your responses.
• Usage data — basic analytics like pages visited and features used, to improve the product.

How We Use Your Data

• Build your coaches — your checkpoint responses are processed server-side to render the personality file and coach instructions you copy into your AI of choice.
• Product improvement — aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us build better checkpoints and coaches.
• Communication — we send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, and a welcome email). Marketing emails are opt-in and unsubscribable at any time.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. Row-level security is enforced on every user-facing table so no user can see another’s data, including us by accident.

Your coach’s instructions and personality file are rendered on demand from your checkpoint data — we don’t store these artifacts as separate records. You can copy them, download them, or delete your account (and all the data) any time.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Google AdSense — InnerForge is free and ad-supported. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve and measure ads, and may personalize them based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can review and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info.
• Google Gemini — AI model used to generate written personality interpretations. Your data is sent to Gemini only as part of rendering your report and is not retained by Google for training.
• Vercel — application hosting and first-party analytics (page views, Core Web Vitals).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Cookies

We use essential first-party cookies for authentication and session management, and first-party cookies for basic product analytics. Because InnerForge is ad-supported, Google AdSense and its partners also set third-party advertising cookies to serve and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings; EU/UK visitors are shown a consent choice before personalized ads load.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data any time through your dashboard or by emailing us.
• Export your checkpoint results, personality file, and coach instructions (the coach detail page lets you download the personality file directly).
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Correct any inaccurate account information from settings.
